Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026 · Last updated October 18, 2026

The Good Vend ("we", "us") places and services vending machines for businesses. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

The short version: we only collect what you type into our contact form, we use it to get back to you, and we never sell or share it for advertising. This site has no ads, no analytics trackers and no social media pixels.

Information we collect

What you give us

When you fill out the "Get a machine" form, we collect:

If you email or call us, we receive whatever you include in that message, along with your email address or phone number.

What is collected automatically

Like every website, our hosting provider receives some technical information when your browser loads a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse and spam. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to follow you around the web.

How we use it

We don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to, and we don't use your information for any purpose that isn't reasonably related to the reason you gave it to us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months.

We disclose information only to service providers that help us run the business, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business (in which case this policy would continue to apply).

Cookies, storage and tracking

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and spam-protection provider may set strictly necessary security cookies that help tell people apart from bots; these aren't used to track you across sites.

If you use the "Pause animations" button, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage. That setting stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page doesn't contact Google or any other font service.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we don't track visitors across websites or sell or share personal information, there's nothing for these signals to switch off. We still treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing, and we treat Do Not Track signals the same way.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for up to 24 months after our last conversation with you, so we can follow up on your request. If you become a customer, we keep your business contact details for as long as we service your location and as long afterward as tax and accounting law requires. Server and security logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

We won't treat you differently, charge you more, or give you a worse service for using any of these rights.

How to make a request

Email hello@thegoodvend.example with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you'd like us to do. To protect you, we'll verify your request by confirming it from the email address you used with us, and we may ask for one more detail if needed. We'll confirm we received it within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time (up to 45 more days), we'll tell you why.

You can also have an authorized agent make a request for you. We'll ask the agent for your signed permission and may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.

California residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), gives California residents the rights described above. We extend those same rights to everyone. For the past 12 months, here are the categories of personal information we collected:

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, and we don't use any information to infer characteristics about you. We have not sold or shared any category of personal information in the past 12 months, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the information of anyone under 16.

Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents can ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We don't.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

Our site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and form submissions are stored with access limited to the people who need them to reply to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know by email before it takes effect.
